TWS Aoyama: Creator-in-Residence organizes public program, "OPEN STUDIO" which is for the public to see the creative process of residing creators to communicate and to exchange ideas about their works. In each studio, creators present the progress of their works or research in various ways. 12 creators from 9 countries will present the progress of their works or research in various ways this time.

"Body Electric Project" Presentation with Live Performance

Giovanni Flore delivers performative presentation regarding his long-term research project called "Body Electric Project" in this Open Studio.
The "Body Electric Project" is an inter-disciplinary research project about the human body as a source of energy, considering the roles of Technology, Human Sciences, Art and design. It investigates the ways the human being can be seen not only as a consumer but also as a provider for electric power.
This lecture is accompanied by some visual and poetic contents as well as a live performce by Kanya Takeda. The "Body Electric Project" will be furthermore developed into an editorial and visual narrative as well as an interactive installation that allows audience to be engaged in a direct experience of the bodily capability of producing energy, being aware of the consequences of this power and of the applications in every-day.
