YOSHIHAMA Syo

Born in Okinawa in 1985. Graduated from painting of Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts in 2010. Recent main activities are "VOCA 2012: New painters" (The Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo, 2012), "Do not look micro sound and distant sound" (gallery Lafayette, Okinawa, 2012), "TOKYO EXPERIMENTAL FESTIVAL" (Tokyo Wonder Site Shibuya, Tokyo, 2012), "Kareizawa Art ICHIBA" (Club Kareizawa, Aomori, 2011), "Syo Yoshihama sound work creation and exhibition" (Midori Art Center, Aomori, 2011), "AIR3331" (3331 Arts Chiyoda, Tokyo, 2011). Art work "blind" has been awarded the Encouragement Award at "TOKYO EXPERIMENTAL FESTIVAL". In addition to the creation of art work, he plays with artists from around the world at improvisation by trumpet and PC. And also he develops the series of "Micro Sound Orchestra" workshop with performances using commodities.
