TWS Aoyama: Creator-in-Residence organizes public program, "OPEN STUDIO" which is for the public to see the creative process of residing creators to communicate and to exchange ideas about their works. In each studio, creators present the progress of their works or research in various ways. In the OPEN STUDIO of this month, O JUN (Artist, Associate Professor, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts) will give a talk! Please don't miss this precious opportunity!

"O JUN 1st collection book" 2007 

Born in Tokyo in 1956. Graduated from Oil Painting Course, Department of Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 1980, where he finished MFA in 1982, He stayed in Barcelona, Spain from 1984 to 1985 and Dusseldorf, Germany from 1990 to 1994. In 2008, he stayed in Buenos Aires, Argentina for the Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists organized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Since 2009, he has been teaching at Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts as an associate professor. He works with various media including physical performances, although they are based on the paintings. His works has been showing at Mizuma Art Gallery and many more places both in Japan and abroad.
