About works

My practice questions the relationship between technology, people and the environment through research that combines intuition and theory, known as ‘Sanpo / Walks’. I examine the connection between technology and the environment from the perspective of printmaking reproduction techniques and anthropology, exploring the expression that emerges through ‘intervention’ with the plate. Seeking to capture the moment when the ‘plate’ as a concept transforms the meaning of traces and memories, I develop my work across various media, creating comprehensive pieces that imbue the production process itself with meaning.
