About works / performance
My productions focus on the analysis of dominant narratives and on the clichés which represent Andalusian identity through an emotional and subversive immersion in the anthropology of the everyday. Folklore and popular traditions, food rituals, religious myths, and women's role in the distribution of power or collective festivals such as bullfighting, are critically distorted in the mirror of my reflections.
Through humor, I try to dismantle the false morals of clichés, unravels stereotypes, and I attack the essentialism that conceives identities as something static.
