Until now I have worked on projects of un-installing some part of my memory and re-installing it into other people.
Now I'm interested in a new process like untangling and installing the memory that is accumulated in a curtain place. I will realize my new project about 'camino de Santiago'(pilgrims road). I think camino de Santiago, which has a long history, is a very good place for my practice.
I already investigate many traveler's web log and books and movies about camino de Santiago. Now I need to experiment the camino myself with my body (walking the French route for 40 days), mix other people's stories and my stories to make them into one story as our story and output it as an installation.
-Before September: Collecting texts written and images and videos taken by people who walked the pilgrimage route of Camino de Santiago (mainly from SNS and books), as well as fragments from related films. Recomposing them into a single diary.
-September -(around 40 days): Walking the pilgrimage route by myself while reenacting the contents of the virtual diary, in terms of not only events and directions but also images and videos (= installing into my body various experiences of numerous others and outputting them newly).
-Residency at Matadero Madrid. Mixing the virtual diary and my actual experiences into a new whole narrative.
-To interview the person who has experience of Camino de Santiago.
-Developing it into a mixed-medium installation consisting of photographs, texts, videos, etc., and exhibiting it (currently considering a possible form of interaction with viewers).
