During TWS Residency Emmanuel Guillaud will pursue his research on the aesthetics of projection through a new version of "Untitled (after Piranesi)", built in-situ in the garden of the French Institute.
Projectors will be built on site: They will be sculptures made of light and lens, desiring machines that, at night, will beam flickering images of the underground.
The project will be pursued in cooperation with the Louis-Lumière National Institute and Japanese artist Tomonari Kawano.
