Purpose of the residency
I'd like to research about contemporary art and historical contexts from Berlin, the city has been appealing alternative culture to the world. I expect that Berlin gives me many chances to consider about something, from that used be a mecca of German idealism historically, and Berliner Dadaism fought against totalitarianism, the cultural praxis for the unification of East and West Germany, main city of undertaking unsettled political conditions of EU, and also the capital of country, where Video Art was born.
Plan during the residency
At first, I'd like to research along with the term "overabundance" and "emptiness" by means of geopolitically, and of changing time. And I try to correct physical evidence or memories of someone, which show us symbol of the city, then I recompose these elements into art piece. It may take one and half month for researching and preparation of presentation for remaining time.
