Purpose of the residency
Collaboration would be a main constituent at first. I believe that it provides unsteadiness and chance in where the inner meaning of my work unexpectedly comes out. Since this program opens for creators who are active to multidisciplinary collaboration as I am, I would like to exchange opinions about the future form of expression with them.
Plan during the residency
I will research on Spanish language and literature referring to Roberto Bolano Avalos's work. Bolano, whom I am influenced by, was a novelist and poet and wrote a story set in Madrid during his stay. Although he is Chilean, I felt that he has a sense of Spanish literature. Since I speak a minor language, Japanese, I am interested that Spanish is used in the countries in distance from Spain such as in Chili. Also, I will research on Dolores Ibarruri Gomez who was a famous female activist and had a reputation as a good public speaker.
