As studying and researching on art, sound art, acoustic, ethno-music and Noh/Kyogen, I have reached several hypotheses. Listening to the sound art and music of Germany and Japan, you may find differences. In Japan, there seems to be more people who percept the nature sound emotionally. It may be because there are traditions in Japan to appreciate the sound of nature. And I think, the idea of 'Ma' is the way to show the respect for the nature and object which are always beyond human. About Germany, this is what I should research locally in Berlin, but I think there is strong emphasis of musicians and artists who are highly talented. In 60s, musicians and artists dissolved music and art to each persons in the matter of human body and in the democratic way. But in Germany, there are still 'Meister' of arts. Examining these hypotheses in Berlin and Tokyo, we can reach to something. Plan during the residency
As planned, during his stay in Japan, I discussed about the collaborations in Berlin with Joerg Hiller (a.k.a. Konrad Sprenger) and some performance will be realized. And on 29/11/2014 I have a performance in Dresden with Benjamin Efrati (a guest lecturer at Beaux-Arts de Paris). And I will visit her studio in Brussels to meet Alexandra Dementieva.(24/11/2014-11/12/2014 or 18/1/2015-15/2/2015). And I am in touch with Christian Kesten (a voise performer in Berlin) and Jean-Herve Peron ( Faust ) to realize a meeting and collaborations.
