Purpose of the residency
An investigation about the city and its representation, where the reference of scale is silenced and attemped to comprehended through study mockups made with everyday objects in an infinite choreography of movements reconstructing scenes of an Atlas (previous study cases). The study of Transformation as narrative language, to draw/portrait thecity as a dynamic image in a constant evolution.
Plan during the residency
First in Tokyo the research for the new basis of work creating an Atlas of posibilitéis and categorize them, as well as the use of 'units' / everyday objects completely unprecedent to me. To investigate the possible relation between city and objets throught the 'mecha' - transformers which will be visible at the second stage in Madrid where a series of video pieces will be created showing the transformation of objects into structures and cases of study previously made about the city.
