Research for Mejunje Tokyo Project in collaboration with Julián Gatto. We are mainly gathering knowledge related to object making close to popular craftmaking (minguei), ways of working we consider to be ingenious, sustainable, independent and responsible. How that affects aesthetics and everyday life in general and our art practice in particular.
OPEN HOUSE 2008

Much of our research is based on walking around the streets of Tokyo, trying to engage in interviews and informal exchange with people, plus the actual experience of making objects at the residency applying what we have learned, publishing a periodic zine, an internet blog, and a small scale greenhouse.
