TWS Aoyama: Creator-in-Residence has started monthly public programme titled "OPEN HOUSE" focusing on the process of productions. In their studios, the residents will communicate and exchange the ideas about their works with the audience. In this third "OPEN HOUSE", there will be 5 open studios and a panel discussion with residents from various countries with diverse mediums.
At the moment, most of TWS residents are from Asian-Pacific countries. Often times, "cultural exchange" is a key word for international institution like TWS. Currently, on their daily bases, the residents are experimenting their communicational skills to realise their projects, researches, and productions "culturally exchanging" on their way . TWS would like to explore further understandings to these symbolic words such as "cultural exchange," the notion of "Asia," and "creativity" from various perspectives. Please feel free to join in and let us hear your thoughts.
