"Curator Talk" is a mini-lecture series, in which two curators participating in the Curator Residency Program will introduce their activities and the art scene in the countries/regions where they are based.
In "Curator Talk Vol. 8," Eimi Tagore, a New York/San Francisco-based independent curator and PhD Candidate in East Asian Studies at New York University, whose research focuses on contemporary transpacific art engaging with colonial history, memory, and politics, and Mihnea Mircan, a chief curator of Plan B Foundation in Cluj, Romania, who is interested in art history’s extended narratives and their contemporary ramifications, will give mini-lectures.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about the contemporary art scenes of the transpacific and Europe, their past activities as well as their research in Tokyo.
