About works

Takahashi’s practice explores the formation of relationships and distances between people within everyday social environments. Using found objects, existing images and personal or collective events as starting points, their work focuses on situations in which multiple bodies, intentions and perceptions intersect. The work emphasises relationships that emerge through situations requiring negotiation and balance, as well as the structures of layering, tension and support that shape actions and interactions.
