When I participate the residency program and exhibition, first I research about the place, and then I make site-specific and time-specific projects.
I try generation and visualization of new communications starting with various problems of facing the society and everyday life. I always conduct fieldwork about the place first. The society, the environment, the history and the local people of a specific place give me lots of inspiration. So my art works became always Site-specific arts.
I want to face the society with making art projects. And the projects generate dialogue and small changing landscape and perspective of society. I think artists can give new perspectives to people.
I prefer to go outside, to go on a fieldwork and face the society. It's vitally important for me how I spend during the duration of my project. I consider that art is an opportunity to open up the society and people and bring art closer to people's everyday life.
