Avi Sabah

Artist and curator Avi Sabah was born 1977 in Israel. He studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Together with fellow artist Yanai Segal, he co-founded Barbur, a non-profi t artist-run space. He was awarded the Osnat Mozes painting prize for young artists in 2008. The Israeli artist and curator Avi Sabah was born in 1977 in Ma'alot Tarshicha. He studied at the Bezalel Art and Design Academy and founded together with other artistes like Yanai Segal the independent gallery Barbur. Since 2006, Avi Sabah is teaching at the Bezalel, Art and Design Academy. In 2004, he obtained the Award for outstanding achievements of the Department of Art of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, furthermore, he was awarded with the Osnat Mozes painting prize for young artists in 2008.
