Araya RASDJARMREARNSOOK

Profile

Born 1957 in Thailand, Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook obtained her MFA in graphic art
at Silpakorn University, Thailand in 1986. Her works of installations, performance films and
photos represent female sexuality and identity behind the images of death and lament.
She presented her works in the Thai Pavilion at the 51st Venice Biennale, Italy (2005) and
the 17th Sydney Biennale (2010).
