Born in Thisted, Denmark in 1990. Live and works at Aarhus, Denmark. Graduated with a BFA in Photography from Valand Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden. Finished his MA in Japan Studies at University of Copenhagen in 2023.

About works

Poulsen mainly creates works using photography and virtual reality on topics of architecture, digitization, and material culture. He walks around the streets with his cameras and visit local people and museums to do research. He is interested in how people develops, interacts with, and interprets public spaces.
