MOCHIDA Atsuko

Profile

Born in 1989, Tokyo. Graduated Japanese Painting course in Musashino Art University in 2013. Studied in Inter-media Art Course in Tokyo University of the Arts from 2014, Public Art and New Artistic Strategies in Bauhaus University Weimar from 2015. Recent participating group exhibitions: "IMAGINARY BAUHAUS MUSEUM" (2015, Maxim Gorki Theatre, Berlin, Germany) ,"Das Glücksprinzip" (2015, Former prison, Galerie Eigenheim ,Weimar, Germany). Took part in the project "Universe 69" which held fieldwork, workshop and exhibition in Armenia and Japan (2015, The Gallery of Mariam and Eranuhi Aslamazyan Sisters,Gyumri, Armenia / 2016, co-ume lab., Tokyo, Japan).

Stayed in Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik in Berlin from October to December in 2016 and presented performance piece.
