Born in 1982 in Semarang, Indonesia. Lives and works in Bandung, Indonesia. Graduated with an MA in Visual Arts / Film from HFBK University
of Fine Arts Hamburg in 2020.
An artist who works mainly with moving images and expanded cinema. Central
to his practice is subjects related to institutionalized information and materiality of image. His works and
programs have been presented in many festivals, exhibitions, or institutions. Lazuardi runs the Bandung-based curatorial platform Indeks.

Rizki Lazuard'si body of works employs institutional power embedded in the audio-visual footage. His expanded cinema installation and experimental films often employ the materiality and gesture of archives as well as censorship. In his latest exploration, Lazuardi attempts to synthesize new narrative through the juxtaposition of two unrelated stories, histories, or simply images.
