About works

My work explores how the idea of “love” both shapes and unsettles human experience. While often seen as nurturing, love can also conceal violence, sacrifice, and emotional labor, particularly for women and marginalized people. Through installation, drawing, sculpture, video, and light, I visualize moments where care and harm overlap, exposing the hidden pressures within family, romance, and social life. By reexamining these emotions and relationships, I aim to reveal cultural mechanisms that normalize suffering under the name of care, and to amplify voices often silenced by dominant narratives of love and gender.
