About works

By detaching social and cultural phenomena from their context, Kirsch’s works give viewers the opportunity to reflect and reposition themselves in relation to them. Of particular note is the ongoing work with the alter ego, former fitness influencer Stacy Walker, which since 2019 has been critically engaging with the online self-optimization industry. Besides her solo projects she regularly works as a duo with Milena Bühring and in changing group constellations, most recently for the performance Fighting 4 Fear. Currently, she is focusing on how the commodification of private information, knowledge and desires is reflected in online hate speech and the entertainment industry.
