Sunjung KIM

Profile

Sunjung Kim is the founder and director of the curatorial office SAMUSO: Space for Contemporary Art. She is also a professor at the Korea National University of Arts. In 2003, she received the Légion d'Honneur Chevalier prize from the French Embassy in Korea. Kim has curated several notable international exhibitions, including the Korean Pavilion at the 2005 Venice Biennale and the annual Contemporary art festival "Platform Seoul". Most recently Kim was the artistic director of the sixth Seoul International Biennale of Media Art.
