Yeondoo Jung (b.1969, Jinju, South Korea) currently lives and works in Seoul, Korea. He received his B.A. at Seoul National
University and M.A. from Goldsmiths College, University of London. His works have been shown internationally at such
venues as the Venice Biennale 2005, Shanghai Biennale 2002, and Media City Seoul 2012. Recently, Jung had solo
exhibitions at Ulsan Art Museum, Ulsan, Korea and Total Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul. He has been awarded
the "Asia Europe Culture Foundation Award" by the 2nd Shanghai Biennale in 2002, "Artist of the Year 2007" by the
National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea in 2007, and "Today’s Young Artist Award" by Korean Ministry of Culture
in 2008. His works are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, St. Louis Art Museum, and National
Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea.
