E☆mily Yoshimoto

Born in Tokyo in 1993, Emily Yoshimoto graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design (Department of Fine Arts) with a major in Western painting. While a university student, she went to study in the School of Visual Arts at Loughborough University. In 2010 she began showing her works inside and outside Japan as a member of the art group Yuuaa Sya (You Are Shocked), winning the "Point Ranking First Prize" and the "Omura Prize" (Joshibi University, 2014). Her major exhibitions include "Shibukaru Festival 2014" (Shibuya Parco), "Transmissions," and "Yukai Series Part 1, Yukabe (Wall)."
