The film opened the Dox Box festival in Damascus in 2010 and won Best Film at the London Documentary Film Festival and a special mention at the Haiffa Film Festival. My 50 minutes tv documentaries have been sold to several countries such as Japan, Spain, and Austria.
In general I think I could say I make two types of work: there are films a make that have a clear purpose or a message, yet in these works I still try to create a sense of intimacy and nuance. These are mostly commissioned work. The second type are projects I Iive and breath for a couple of years. These films are cinematic and are character driven. Here I try to exclude any unnecessary information. And to look for its purest form of storytelling.
