Markus Ambach

Markus Ambach was born in Germany in 1963. After studying at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf
(1984-87), he was guest professor at Kunstakademie Stuttgart (2005-06), the HFG Offenbach a.M. Main. (2007-08), and lecturer at the UDK Berlin (2005-08).

About works / performance

My work looks for enlarging the artistic practice in relation to the public and to socio- political structures. It is engaged in an emacipative process, in which artist are taking a selfresponsible and active position concerning poetics, politics and society structures.
