About works

Aras's work focuses on the emotional space between audience and media. He is particularly interested in how narrative experiences can preserve memory while challenging historicity. Through his works, he pays attention to what has been neglected or forgotten with the aim to preserve these materials through our emotional connection with them. Most of his projects are research-based and take form of video installations.
