Purpose of the residency

My goal for this residency is to present the progress of my research following the residency in TOKAS (2017) at the gallery Prince Takamado (Embassy of Canada). I will present a serie of paintings about the place of subjectivity in the representation of contemporary landscape, more specifically in some industrials landscapes in border river (Meuse, Belgium). I planned to continue my research by collecting other data and also continue to learn some Japanese traditional cutting technique.

Plan during the residency

-September 5 - September 10 Collecting data about the complexity of the Tokyo Bay and continue to learn some Japanese traditional cutting
-September 7 - September 12 Exhibition installation: work on site, at the gallery Prince Takamado.
-September 13 Public presentation and Opening -September 13
-September 18 Privates visits of the exhibition and interview.
