Purpose of the residency
During the residency in Helsinki, I will create "Approach" series that is a performance that uses structures that visualize social systems. I research the mechanism of the system related to labor and consumption of living, such as supermarket, choose a motif and assemble the structure.
Plan during the residency
-First month) I will research institutes that people use in daily life like supermarkets. I will communicate with people in the residence, and also watch local TV in order to know what kind of topics are on the news.
-Second month) I will collect materials for my work. Since I use a lot of fabric and ready-made products, I would like to visit museums and shops to use Finnish designed fabric and products on my work.
-Third month) I will make and exhibit a performance art based on the research.
