Purpose of the residency
I will research two civic associations, Mukojima Studies(向島学会) and Bughaus, have their roots in Mukojima, Sumidaku. They've been running interesting and meaningful programs based on deep understanding of their history and environments. It seems there is harmony between life and art, and this aspect corresponds the idea of my artistic practice. I will participate in the programs of 2 associations and research their past activities. By researching these associations and their activities, I'd like to introduce them to Korean art communities through seminars and publications.
