Purpose of the residency
Working with interactive technologies for many years, I worked on Mobilizing, an authoring programming language for artists and designers. Currently ongoing as one of the main research program at EnsadLab, Mobilizing.js represent an effort toward the community of artists and designers, but also a participation in the research field of art and software design.
To be able to present and discuss this project to Japanese colleagues is an precious opportunity to widen our collaborations in the near futur about software design for the arts and design. Also, our participation to TEI 2017 in Tokyo with my colleagues is of great importance for our research.
Plan during the residency
A series of event are being held between the 15th and the 23th of march 2017 by me and my colleagues in EnsadLab (research laboratory of Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs de Paris). Mainly lectures and research seminars in various institutions including Graduate School of Film and New Media - Tokyo University of the Arts, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and Institut Français de Tokyo.
