Purpose of the residency
Sustainable town planning is receiving a lot of attention now. Treasure Hill is an example of environmentally sustainable urban community. Many artists came to Treasure Hill since 2010, and they cooperated with local residents. I want to think about preservation and revitalization of local culture in this project by utilizing those background.
Plan during the residency
I plan to do following activities.
-Research of the site
-Fieldwork of Taipei and Treasure Hill
-Selection and gathering local materials
-Renovation a vacant house
