Purpose of the residency
Like in the first time at TWS in 2012 (research residency) I applied to come to Japan again to continue my study of different forms of life that produce natural light (bioluminescence).
Plan during the residency
During my residency period I want to deepen my research on bioluminescent life forms such as Hotaru Ika (beginning of May), Hotaru (July) and Umi Hotaru (July) and work with scientists (Waseda University, Tokyo University) together to create imagery that can be used to develop a video notation (a video that can be a score for a musical piece). Further on I am happy to have the opportunity to meet again Japanese artist friends like OLTA, Tamura Yuichiro, Nito Kendo Han Ishu, the members of the Metaphorest Platform and also to meet other current artists in residence from around the world.
