Purpose of the residency
I will make two exhibitions during my stay at the Tokyo Wonder Site, both as part of the Daiwa Foundation Art Prize 2015. The first is called Life, Death and Tennis, and will take place at Aoyama Meguro Gallery; the second is entitled Deconstructing Sound, and will be an exhibition of my video works co-curated by Osaka Kom and Matthieu Lelièvre.
Plan during the residency
I will create two exhibitions in Tokyo; meet craftsmen to research the creation of new works; and give some artist talks during my time in Japan.
