Purpose of the residency
I am aware that it is necessary to face the origin difference and to derive the common things between Taipei and Tokyo. Through multilaterally researching the field, I want to discover new sources for my art works. This opportunity to stay in Taipei, which I expect is the further development of my works that allows to experience me a physical understanding transcending the borders of the nations and the race.
Plan during the residency
The work will be created finding some elements and materials from everyday of Taipei, abstracting common sign of the both cities, Taipei and Tokyo. As the relation between the work and an architectural space of which the work will be installed is the factor for reconsideration of the work, I will do research its location. I am going to produce art works through the three elements, object, space, mutation.
