Movement in the physical world stimulates movement in mind.
I hope to develop my artistic practice and I will take part in discussions, and reflect
creatively or intellectually on the experience/practice/work, and have a sufficient focus.
In the beginning of the period I will start to categorize the different information from my travel/research period two weeks ahead of the actual rescidency period, such as notes, writings, photography, drawings, video and audio.
I will create a playful environment in my studio, while working on ideas- doing testing.
The starting point will be the juxtaposition of different media, anchored in an expansive idea of space. In this first period, I would also like to spend some time getting to know TWS; the people, the building and the neighbourhood. I will work with drawing and photography in an experimental way to further broaden the parameters of my chosen field; simplicity and complexity- chance and chaos. Finally, within the context of my practice at TWS, I hope for unexpected and perhaps spontaneous possibilities to emerge; and therefore I think its important at certain times to have space and time to open up new lines of research.
