Purpose of the residency

This time, I will collaborate with Animation Artist, Daisuke Nagaoka. His animation is necessary for my opera.
The story of the opera is fantasy, but partly it is very realistic. So I want to intercommunicate the two different worlds, this real world and imaginative world. For the mouth, I will create with him the animation, and my score also. So this is main purpose, and additionally I want to reserch about Japanese contemporary music scene. In Europa, I reserch myself about Ensembles for cotemporary music. So I would like to compare to two different contemporary music activities.

Plan during the residency

I will make the animation with Daisuke Nagaoka for my opera. And I compose this piece. In Europa, I reserch about the education for young people to play contemporay music. So I want to talk about it, and also exchange opinions. Additionally I want to reserch about Japanese contemporary music scene. In Europa, I research myself about Ensembles for cotemporary music. So I would like to compare to two different contemporary music activities.
