To investigate how the city is characterised through the multitude of perceptions guided by the built environment. Furthermore the role of design in articulating new ways of reading the city, made possible through a series of local and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
To explore the perspectives available to the public through different methods of travel within the city.
Conduct workshops focussing on travel within the city by public transport.
Explore the close proximity of public life/culture and urban context, and to collaborate on articulating ways of synthesising observational research and local knowledge and experiences.
Build a growing photographic library research related to urban spaces.
Prototyping research in physical/visual/aural outcomes.
Presenting research and performances and allowing access of results to the public.
