To continue her inquiry into notions of disguise, illusion, layering, emptiness and the unseen in traditional Japanese aesthetics, and the ways in which they function in contemporary life.
Studies in Japanese aesthetics of dress and performing/literary/visual arts, using as a starting point the motif of the mask. Also continuing freelance arts writing, maintaining content for www.biginjapan.com.au and undertaking research for future curatorial projects.
