Develop and research new body of work, consisting of drawings and small models for future sculptures. These new works are inspired by the 400 year relationship between Japan and Mexico. Works will address the myths of these initial encounters which will be used as a starting point for a larger body of work.

Research history through library and the Mexican Embassy. Visit Onjuku, Chiba, the site for the first contact between Mexico and Japan. Visit current monuments and visit the "cave" in Onjuku. Start drawings and the development of body of work for this specific site/project.
