Purpose of the residency
The project 'Guided Memories' will explore how our memories guide our routes in cities, and how can we experience the physical environment of cities through our imagination? My personal background has influenced my way of looking at 'cities': brought up in Taipei, and living in London and Paris for several years, how will I see Tokyo from a different point of view, and how can I use photography to represent my perception of the cities - the city Tokyo in front of my eyes, and the city Taipei in my memory?
