The purpose of my stay in was to investigate the Japanese mythology and its beliefs, to examine their implications and relevance to the contemporary society.
With a particular interest on nature, I wanted to explore the vision of Shinto, its codes and representations in order to delve into the animist imaginary.

-Japanese traditional paintings, calligraphy and poetry.
-Japanese concept of aesthetic (wabi-sabi, fukinseï, shizen...)
-Japanese culture, rituals, habits and festivals.
-Japanese Butoh and Kagura.
