Purpose of the residency
I was in Tokyo to take part in Designtide in 2007, where I exhibited in the design-play Area, and made a fullcolour flowerball over the course of the event. I did a workshop at Tokyo Wonder Site, where we all made small bottletop balls - little recycled plastic lights.
Plan during the residency
TWS-Gathering Talk and Workshop Heath Nash There was no research then... I wanted to find out about the recycling systems in place in and around Tokyo, but there was no time. I also hope to return one day to do a research based project.
