This workshop entails creating an audio guide with poet and artist Aoyagi Natsumi and sound artist Hosoi Miyu. Participants explore and observe the area around TOKAS Hongo while making field recordings, then record themselves reading texts they have written. By combining these materials freely, they create an audio guide that opens up new perspectives on familiar scenes and places and on the environments that surround them.

AOYAGI Natsumi | Born in 1990. Lives and works in Tokyo. A contemporary artist working with moving-image media, Aoyagi develops themes for individual projects through fieldwork and research and presents works based on them.

HOSOI Miyu | Born in 1993. Lives and works in Tokyo. Working primarily with sound installations and experimental performance works, Hosoi explores both the possibilities and limitations of sound as a means of conveying information.
