OPEN SITE 7 | Open Call Program【Exhibition】
This exhibition was inspired by spaces that are inhabited by “non-existent existing” animated characters.
When multiple images are shown in succession, the characters come to life. Depicting the “intermediate” state between the images makes the characters move in a lively way.
When the characters move, interceding between the two image frames, it creates the potential for infinite time in the gap. This might be seen as a spirit body lacking physical form.
