YOF is an artist group formed in 2015. A manifestation of the study of the interplay of colors (valeur) on the surfaces of paintings and other pieces, the collective’s innovative visual art toys with the conditions surrounding the formation of images and is structured in such a way that it creates rifts in visual perception.
OHARA Takayoshi | Born in 1986. Graduated with an MA in Film and New Media from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2012.
FURUSAWA Ryu | Born in 1984. Enrolled in the doctoral program of Film and New Media Studies at Tokyo University of the Arts.
YANAGAWA Tomoyuki | Born in 1985. Graduated with an MA in Media Creations from the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences [IAMAS] in 2013.
