Profile

Born in Shěnyáng in 1982, Wang started to learn playing Liuqin (four-stringed Chinese mandolin) since she was six years-old and later Zhongruan (Chinese plucked string instrument). In 1995, she entered the Junior High School of Central Conservatory of Music and learned from the famous Liuqin player Wang Hongyi. In 1997, she started to learn Zhongruan from Xu Yang. In 2001, she entered Central Conservatory of Music on a National Scholarship and currently, she is on the master's course.
She often plays with National Orchestra China on tour. In 2004, she played "Swords"  in Netherlands and received a favorable reception.
