Profile

Born in 1980. Graduated from Academy of Music & Drama, Hamburg (Master of Arts,) in 2008. Enrolled in Cultures of the Curatorial postgraduate study program at Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. Recent main activities include arts programming, creative producing, editing and research for among others „transmediale/conversationpiece" (Berlin, 2016), „Still be here" (Production, 2016), „Infrared Dreams in Times of Transparency" (Married Print Magazine, Berlin, 2015), „transmediale CAPTURE ALL (Berlin, 2015), „Time & Motion" (Berlin HKW / Liverpool, 2015), „Art Hack Day afterglow" (Berlin, 2014).

Inga Seidler works in the field of critical media arts and digital culture as arts manager, researcher, and creative producer for international art festivals, artist collectives, non-profit and acclaimed cultural organizations. These included among others transmediale festival, Free Art & Technology Lab, Humboldt Forum, urban dialogues, Prinzessinnengärten, House of World Cultures. She has researched and written on art, urbanism and creative industries for Married Print, Der Wedding, Handbook for Cultural Management, Cultural Industries Report Hamburg, and a number of exhibition publications. Over the past seven years Inga has developed, co-produced and delivered large-scale exhibitions and installations, workshop and talk programs, research projects, and art events. She is currently working as program manager for transmediale festival for art & digital culture. Inga lives and works in Berlin.
